The Atlantic Undergraduate Physics and Astronomy Conference (AUPAC) is an annual Undergraduate conference that is hosted by an institution in the Atlantic provinces each year in conjunction with Science Atlantic. AUPAC 2023 will be held at Saint Mary’s University in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
As the main goal of AUPAC is to encourage undergraduate students to become familiar with research in physics and astronomy, the main activities surrounding AUPAC include keynote speaker presentations, a discussion panel, a grad / trade fair, along with countless other fun activities!
You can expect social gatherings, games nights, visits to the Burke Gaffney Observatory, and a friendly competition between institutions called the AUPAC Cup.
