Advanced computing has become an essential tool for the whole research community, from chemists, physicists and engineers — who were the first to use advanced computing — to emerging communities in fields such as genomics, imaging, or big data analysis in the humanities and social sciences.
In 2016, the Calcul Québec Spring School will take place from June 6 to 10, 2016, at Bishop’s University in Lennoxville ,Qc.
The Calcul Québec Spring School is an event that is held annually to train graduate students, postdocs and researchers on the effective use of resources. Held at Bishop’s University, the school is also a unique opportunity to have privileged access to Calcul Québec analysts who will be on site for the duration of the event.

Please note that although some workshops may be presented in English, a working knowledge of French is required as most activities will take place in French.
