Phil has over 35 years of experience as a Unix System Administrator, working in academic and industry environments performing IT infrastructure design, implementation and management. He has significant experience in Unix, TCP/IP networking, Myrinet interconnect, computer security, hierarchical file systems (including SAM-QFS) and cluster computing systems. Prior to becoming ACENET's Manager of Infrastructure, he was our Lead System Administrator. He also worked as a Unix Administrator for the Research Institute at Toronto’s Hospital for Sick Children and was the Unix and Network Administration Team Leader for software developers at Alias Research.
