ACENET is proud to be supporting 24 graduate and undergraduate students from across the Atlantic region in this year's fellowship awards. Among them are 15 graduate students, with the balance undergraduates. This is the second and last year for this round of ACENET fellowships.
We have already seen the industry and societal benefits of the program through this past year's projects which had direct implications for, among others, cancer drug therapy, tidal energy, climate change, biofuels, human frailty (aging) modelling, and commercial/industrial fire safety.
With an enthusiastic response to the program from researchers, we hope to be able to continue the program in 2017.
